Kencove Farm Fence Supplies is a nationwide distributor with a growing niche market supplying the agricultural community with farm fencing supplies. Since 1980, the company has committed itself to serving farmers and fence builders with fast, friendly service and expert advice. The Product Specialist interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and take orders and resolve complaints.
Tasks, Accountabilities and Key Responsibilities:
• Confer with customers via telephone, internet, email, live chat, or in person to provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, or obtain details of complaints.
•. Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems
• Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
• Resolve customers' service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, or adjusting bills.
• Provide recommendations of fencing implementation based on situation and create quotes for the sale.
• Trouble shooting of fencing products and issues.
• Responsible for maintaining product knowledge at all times
• Must have excellent communication skills with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates as well as Persons outside the organization.
• Must be able to make decisions and solve problems.
· Agricultural background and knowledge preferred
· Computer Skills
· Sales background preferred
· Basic mechanical skills preferred
· Flexible schedule requiring Saturday rotations
